Thousands of people annually visit the
MonƵment preserves the pipestone ƋƵarries
and elements of NaƟve American cƵltƵre.
OnlǇ American /ndians are allowed to ƋƵarrǇ
the pipestone. dheǇ make pipes and other
items from the pipestone.

from the Őeneral plains of the sƵrroƵndinŐ

the ƋƵarries, naƟve plants and rock formaƟons. Special aƩracƟons

Wildlife is also of interest. Ask at the sisitor Center for more complete
